1. Information We Collect

1.1 Email Address (Required)

When you download and create an account in the hangAIR Global App, we collect your email address.
We use your email to:

• Create and manage your hangAIR account

• Send essential app or device-related updates

• Provide customer support

We do not use your email for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

2. Optional Wearable Data (User-Controlled)

You may choose to connect your personal wearable device (e.g., Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop, Oura) to enhance your recovery insights when using Orca.

This integration is powered by Tryterra.

How it works:

• Inside the hangAIR App, tap the watch icon.

• You will be securely redirected to the Tryterra platform.

On Tryterra, you choose exactly what data you want to share, such as:

• Heart rate

• Breathing rate

• HRV

• Movement/Activity

• Sleep metrics

You can also choose not to share anything.

Once you make your selection, you’re returned to the hangAIR App to continue operating your Orca session.

Important:

hangAIR does not collect any wearable data unless you explicitly authorise it through Tryterra.

Tryterra never shares data you did not select.

You can revoke permissions at any time through Tryterra.

3. How We Use Optional Wearable Data

If you choose to share data with Tryterra and allow Tryterra to pass data to hangAIR, we use that data only to:

• Display real-time and post-session insights during Orca sessions

• Improve your personalised recovery experience

• Provide optional aggregated wellness trends (if you opt in)

We do not:

• Sell your data

• Use your data for advertising

• Share your personal metrics with employers or third parties

If an employer or venue receives wellness reporting, it is strictly aggregated and anonymised, and only if the organisation uses the Enterprise version of Orca and all users have opted in.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your email and (if applicable) your authorised wearable data are stored securely using encrypted systems.

We follow GDPR and UK Data Protection Act requirements.

Tryterra has its own secure data handling policies; you can read their privacy policy when granting permissions.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data

• Request correction or deletion

• Withdraw consent (especially for wearable integrations)

• Export your data

• Contact us or a regulator regarding privacy concerns

6. Children’s Data

The hangAIR Global App is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice as the app evolves. If changes affect your data rights, we will notify you by email or in-app.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data

• Correct inaccurate data

• Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”)

• Withdraw consent

• Object to certain processing
